We have a brand new award this year , the Education award
This award celebrates exceptional dedication to learning and academic excellence. This will be awarded to someone who actively contributes to the educational community or fosters innovation in teaching. They will serve as a role model, inspiring peers or students through their efforts and achievements.

The DeeDee Trust was privileged to sponsor the service award for many years and we are now very honoured to be sponsor the latest award – Education.
Education is empowerment and builds awareness, it defines knowledge and wisdom.
Whether through a blend of institutional education, life long learning or lessons in life, education throughout your life helps you realise your potential, which allows you to empower yourself to do more than you thought you could do before. It gives you a better, more developed understanding of the world and current events and allows you to learn from the mistakes of those who came before you, so that you do not repeat the same mistakes. That’s why it is so important.
Education may not be the key to happiness, but it most definitely is the key to a lot of other things which come together to make you happy.
By sponsoring this great award, the DeeDee Trust hopes education will raise awareness, unite and empower our community to reduce inequalities and blond prejudice. Education is around all of us. We just need to recognise it and enhance the opportunities to best effect.
