I have been with POA for over 18 years, I serve as a community champion, I own two businesses, and a dedicated volunteer for The Abel Foundation.
Having been honoured as a past winner in 2009, this event holds immense significance for me; Witnessing the elation on the faces of each year’s winners brings me great joy. Beyond my professional endeavours, I find fulfilment in travelling, music, and nanny duties.
As a firm believer in paying, it forward, nothing brings me more satisfaction than witnessing others thrive and succeed.
I am a local business owner with a passion to support our local Andover Community. To join The Pride of Andover Committee as a volunteer is a privilege with 2022 being my first year.
Andover has a great community, and I am excited to be able to be a part of highlighting those that deserve recognition for their outstanding commitment and involvement within Andover.
I have over 15 years of experience in Customer Service and Business Support and enjoy volunteering my time to support the members of the committee with social media and press releases as well as meeting like-minded business owners like our sponsors.
When I get spare time, I enjoy spending this with my family, my two teenage girls and my partner Jason.
I have been involved with POA now for over 6 years, and 4 years as a sponsor.

I love helping with charities and good causes, from raising money for homeless charities, to helping local charities with their websites. I also love to dive.
I am the Director/Owner of Bear Behind Ltd, which I love as it gives me the flexibility to be able to spend precious time with my son.
After attending the awards in 2025 when my husband won an award I knew I had to get involved somehow. To be part of an organisation that felt like a family, honouring all those in Andover and surrounding areas that co tribute so much to the lives of others so selflessly.
My husband and I run local mental health charity Kick Start FC and the work POA do seemed to perfectly align so it is an honour to be welcomed to the team! With a passion for social media and meeting new people I can’t wait to see what the coming years bring.
I’m lucky to have a supportive husband, two wonderful children, a fluffy dog called Stanley and enjoy football, netball, live music (especially country) and a large icy pinot.
I first became involved with Pride of Andover in 2021 as part of the Andover Self-Isolation Help Group, when we were incredibly proud to win an award. Seeing first-hand the impact the awards have on individuals and groups across the town was a really special experience.
After that, I volunteered at the awards for the next couple of years and loved being part of such a positive, community led event. Wanting to do more, I joined the committee, and I’ve loved every second of it.
Being part of an awards ceremony that celebrates and recognises the people who go above and beyond for Andover is genuinely inspiring. The dedication, kindness and community spirit behind every nomination is what makes Pride of Andover so special, and I’m incredibly proud to play a part in helping bring those stories to life.

I was first introduced to the importance of Pride of Andover last year when my partner was part of the media team and I attended the 2025 awards ceremony. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcome by the team and the wider community. Seeing so many people come together to recognise the individuals, groups, and organisations that make Andover such a supportive and caring place really stayed with me.
That experience motivated me to volunteer and support Pride of Andover in any capacity I could, helping to celebrate the people who give so much to the town and strengthen its sense of community.
I’m a full-time computer consultant, DJ, and radio host on two stations, including my own platform. As a Pride of Andover Awards Committee member, I’m committed to celebrating the people and organisations who make Andover a better place.
I’m a proud father of four and stepdad to one, and I enjoy football, cricket, and formula one as well as family time and foreign travel.
By 2027, I’ll have lived in Andover for 20 years after moving from my birth city of Bristol. While I loved growing up there, I’m proud to call Andover my home and have done for many years. After attending the awards in 2017, I returned in 2025 as a volunteer following a period of rebuilding, and I’m now excited to serve on the committee and help the awards continue to grow.
I was once described as “pretty annoying” (in the best possible way!), but I focus on positivity and believe enthusiasm is contagious.
