The Pride of Andover Awards have been celebrating local residents who quietly make a difference to other peoples’ lives since 2007.
Jordan makes a welcome return to host this years awards in Andover.
Jordan Wylie MBE is an award-winning adventurer, Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling author and one of the stars of Channel 4’s BAFTA-nominated TV shows Hunted and Celebrity Hunted. The former frontline soldier from Blackpool has lived in and around Andover for the last 20 years and is an active patron of many charities. Jordan has held the position of National Ambassador for the Army Cadets for the last 7 years and has raised over £1 million pounds for good causes.
Jordan’s greatest passion is using adventure to support, encourage, and inspire children and young people. In 2023, Jordan was appointed an MBE by HM King Charles III for voluntary services to education and charity both in the UK and overseas. In 2025, he will head back to Antarctica to take on a world-first expedition to attempt to summit a series of unclimbed peaks in aid of ACCT UK.
