The Pride of Andover Awards are proud to reveal not just one, but two amazing joint sponsors of the 2024 Sports Award, The DeeDee Trust and New Street Football Club.
At the recently held nominations launch event, the committee had the chance to catch up with both DeeDee and Sultan Sid Dajani from The DeeDee Trust and Brian and Dan from New Street Football Club, who all have a shared passion for the sporting culture in the area and are proud to support this prestigious award for 2024.
Dan from New Street Football Club shared:
“It’s just a fantastic opportunity to raise the awareness and availability of sport in the area for young people like DeeDee.
Please think about who is giving up their free time to provide access to sports and activities and anything else that helps young people get outside and away from the screen for an hour maybe once or twice a week and enjoy that activity in a safe positive environment.”
DeeDee had fun listing as many sports as she could think of and said she was also proud to be supporting the Services Award this year.
