Community Awards to hold Awards Dinner at new venue

The Pride of Andover Awards will move their 13th annual Awards Ceremony and dinner to the Andover Masonic Hall…

With the finalist announcement for this year’s Pride of Andover Awards just one week away, the initiative has announced it will hold this year’s long-awaited Awards Ceremony at a new venue: the Andover Masonic Hall.

Traditionally held at The Lights, which has provided the ideal venue to this growing community initiative for many years, the Awards’ committee has this year made the decision to hold the Ceremony at Andover’s Masonic Hall; shining a light on this cornerstone local venue which provides a fitting space for the Awards’ milestone 13th year.

Karen Hamilton, Chairman of the Pride of Andover Awards Committee, said of the change of venue:

“We’re incredibly grateful to The Lights for enabling us to hold the Pride of Andover Awards Ceremony at their impressive and versatile venue since our we began and hope to return in the future.

“Our move this year to the Andover Masonic Hall is something we’re all very excited about as it gives us the opportunity to showcase and support other important venues such as this in the area.”

The Pride of Andover Awards’ Awards Ceremony and dinner will take place on the evening of 16th October, where this year’s winners will be announced.

Now in its 13th year, the Pride of Andover Awards exists to shed light on the town’s unsung heroes – endorsing the inspiring and often selfless actions of Andover’s most generous individuals; promoting a sense of pride in our unique north Hampshire town.
