Pride of Andover 2018 opens for nominations this week
The 2018 Pride of Andover Awards is opening for nominations.
Following a lively and well-attended launch event on 16th June, the Pride of Andover Awards 2018 is opening for nominations this Sunday.
During an exclusive event, held at David Mellor Family Jewellers in the Chantry Centre, and later The Lights, on 16th June, the Awards’ 9 sponsors came together to celebrate the 2018 awards; by networking, enjoying a light lunch, and discussing this year’s plans, ahead of the nomination period which opens this Sunday.
The Pride of Andover Awards 2018 has no less than 9 awards categories open for nominations, including the highly regarded Spirit of Andover Award made possible by the Awards’ Main Sponsor, David Mellor Family Jewellers.
The Spirit of Andover Award exists to recognise an individual or group whose, in the opinion of the main event sponsor, work in the community and whose achievements have been far-reaching – chosen as the overall winner of the Pride of Andover Awards 2018, from this this year’s category winners.
Christine Mellor of David Mellor Family Jewellers said of the Award:
“At David Mellor Family Jewellers, our community is incredibly important to us, so to be able to sponsor the Pride of Andover Awards, and the Spirit of Andover award category, for another year is something we’re really excited about; a thriving community is made up of passionate and proactive people, and the Spirit of Andover Award recognises this.”

- David Mellor Family Jewellers – Spirit of Andover Award
